RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />7305-98 BY: Corrigan, George, Roth, <br /> Seelie, $kindel! <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Ona Mae Baxter for her dedicated service <br />as Director of The Lakewood Christian Service Center. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon her retirement effective March 27, 1998, Ona Mae <br />Baxter completed 8 years of dedicated service with The Lakewood Christian Service <br />Center; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during her tenure Ona Mae <br />dedicated, loyal and compassionate manager of The <br />Center; and <br /> <br />Baxter was recognized as a <br />Lakewood Christian Service <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Lakewood Christian Service Center, under her <br />stewardship provided outstanding social services, referral information, assistance with <br />food stamps, child care, social security, workers compensation, housing, utilities, <br />healthcare and other forms of emergency assistance; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the dedicated service rendered by <br />Ona Mae Baxter be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE It RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to Ona Mae Baxter <br />its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for her 8 years of service <br />with The Lakewood Christian Service Center and further that this Council and Mayor <br />wish her continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in her retirement. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Ona Mae Baxter, and that a <br />copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />
