KESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />Referred to HOUStXG COMMITTEE 5/4/98. <br /> <br />7314-95 BY: Corrigan, Flannery, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor to execute contracts with the Cuyahoga <br />Housing Consortium (the "Consortium") and/or the Board of Cuyahoga County <br />Commissioners for allocation of administrative dollars from the City's fiscal year 1996 <br />and 1997 Home Investment Partnership Program (the "Home Program") fund allotment. <br /> WHEREAS, the City's parmership with the Consortium provides for an annual <br />mount from each participating communities' Home Program fund allocations that can be <br />dedicated to administrative costs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the fiscal year 1996 amount totals EIGHT THOUSAND SIX <br />HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($8,685.00) and the fiscal year 1997 amount <br />totals EIGHT THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED EIGHT DOLLARS (S8,408.00), and <br />said amounts will help defray the overhead costs of running the Home Program in the <br />City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has currently been using CommurJty Development Block <br /> Grant ("CDBG") administrative dollars to cover such charges, and the use of the Home <br /> Program administrati'ce dollars will appropriately free-up such CDBG dollars for direct <br /> CDBG programs; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor is authorized to execute contracts with the <br /> Cuyahoga Housing Consortium and/or the Board of Cuyahoga County Commissioners <br /> for allocation of adminisu:ative dollars in the amount of EIGHT THOUSAND SIX <br /> HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($8,685) and EIGHT THOUSAND FOUR <br /> I{UNDRED EIGHT DOLLARS ($8,408.00) from the City's 1996 and 1997 Home <br /> Program fund allotment, respectively. <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br /> concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting <br /> of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and any of its committees <br /> that resulted in such formal action were in meenngs open to the public, in compliance <br /> with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> PRESIDENT <br /> <br /> <br />
