RESOLUTION NO. 73Z1-98 <br /> <br />BY: Corrigan, ,, Plannery, George, Roth <br /> Seelie, $kindell, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Mayor for and on <br />behalf of the City of Lakewood fo enter into a Contract with the Western <br />Reserve Area Agency on Aging fo accept funds for the City's programs <br />covering Social/Supportive and Nutrition Services, such contract providing <br />partial funding for supplemental programs under Title III of the 1965 Older <br />Americans Act. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging is <br />administering a program of grants from the Federal Government under <br />Title !11 of the 1965 Older Americans Act whereby this City may obtain <br />funds to provide Programs for persons 60 years of age or older; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CiTY OF I AKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, for and on behalf of the City of <br />Lakewood, be and she is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging, providing <br />partial funding of the City's Program under Title II! of the 1965 Older <br />Americans Act. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions <br />of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this Resolution <br />were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in <br />such formal action were in meetings open fo the public in compliance <br />with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />PR'ESIDENT <br /> <br /> <br />
