(De£erred on 10/3/98.) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7340-98 <br /> <br /> BY' Ccrrigan, Fit:Gerald, George, <br />Roth, 'Se.iie, Skindell, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to honor and recognize Eva Weissman on <br />the occasion of her 75th birthday. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Eva Weissman ably and with distinction serves <br />the community in varied capacities and roles such as President of the <br />Huntington's Disease Society of America, Northeast Ohio Chapter, proud <br />advocate of issues and political candidates, active member of her <br />Temple, as weII as member of boards and organizations, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, throughout her life, Eva Weissman demonstrated <br />in countless ways her dedication to the welfare of others and has earned <br />the respect and affection of family and friends alike, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood cherishes the valuable asset <br />it has in Eva Weissman, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is only fitting and proper tl~t on the occasion <br />of' her ?5th birthday, Eva Weissman be given public cognizance and <br />recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY TI-IE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO:. <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council extends to Eva Weissman, its <br />recognition and congratulations on the celebration of her Troth birthday <br />and further wishes to thank her for the signfficant role she continues to <br />play in the betterment of City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
