Amended on <br /> <br />floor on <br /> <br />10/19/98. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7345-98 <br /> <br />BY: Corrigan, Roth, Seelie, <br /> Skindell, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION urging voters to vote No on Issues 45 and 46, the <br />Proposed Charter Amendment ballot issue and the question of whether Section 915.02 <br /> Customer Service Charge - of the Codified Ordinances of Lakewood shall be <br />repealed. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, passage of Issues 45 and 46 would diminish our ability to <br />maintain Lakewood as a fiscally sound, well managed and responsibly governed <br />community, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to protect the welfare of the citizens of Lakewood <br />this Council wishes to express its concerns and opposition relative to these Charter <br />amendments; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor express strenuous opposition to <br />Issues 45 and 46. <br /> <br /> Section 2. it is found and determined that ali formal action of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this Resolution were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br /> Section 3.
