RESOLUT ON NO 7365-99 <br /> <br />BY' Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Skindell <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION tO welcome you as a new resident of the City of Lakewood <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Lakewood is happy that you have chosen <br />to live here and is pleased to sen/e as your representatives in local government; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 21, 1986, it came before the Council of the City of Lakewood <br />that giving new residents information regarding some basic laws and policies concerning their <br />new community may convey to them that the City is interested in assisting them, making them <br />feel "at home" more quickly; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the various city codes help to assure the community pride, by which <br />the history of the city is distinguished; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the comfortable living here may continue through knowledge of <br />basic laws and policies such aS parking and refuse regulations, recycling guidelines, pet <br />information and 8ommunity development programs; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council wishe~ to warmly welcome you as a new resident of this <br />community; now, therefore; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO' <br /> Section 1 That this Council, for itself and on behalf of all of th~ citizens of this <br />community, warmly welcomes you as a new resident of the City of Lakewood end wishes you <br />much happiness, gratification and success in your new surroundings <br /> <br /> Section 2, That information regarding some basic laws and policies within the <br />City of Lakewood is hereby authorized and directed to be forwarded to new residents at their <br />new street address~ Lakewood, OH 44107 <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />Approved' ~ ~)/, <br /> <br /> <br />
