RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />740Z-99 <br /> <br /> BY: Corrigan, <br />George, Roth, Seelie, <br /> <br />FitzGerald, <br />Skindei1, <br /> Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to r~co~i?e members of The Lakewood Division of Police and <br />all peace officers during National Police Week 1999. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the weck of May 9" ri~'ough the I5" has be~n desigrmIed as National <br />Police Week, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, May I$~' is National Peace Officers' Memorial Day when we honor <br />those who have made the ulfimaIe sacr/fice and reco~i~e those who work daffy to protect and <br />serve the citizens of our commun/ty; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by the <br />members of the Lakewood Division of Police and peace officers nationally be given public <br />cognizance and recognition during this time; no~; therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section I. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to the members of the <br />Lakewood Division of Police and peace officers across the nation its appreciation for their public <br /> <br /> Section 2.
