RESOLUTION NO. 7418-99 By: Corrigan, FitzGerald, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith <br /> <br />We wish to extend special reco~maition to Larry Faulhaber, the 1999 Grand Marshal of the City of <br />Lakewood 4th of July Parade. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. After receiving a Business Administration Degree from John Carroll <br />University, Larry worked for the Illuminating Company for twenty years, during which time he <br />also received a MBA from Case Western University; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. In 1976 Larry began his career in senior housing, serving as Managing <br />Director of LSC Service Corporation until 1996. Larry is also a member of the Board of <br />Trustees for the Westerly Apartments, the Board of Trustees of the Barton Center and the Board <br />of Directors of First Federal of Lakewood; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. Larry has held and continues to hold leadership positions in several local <br />civic organizations including the Lakewood Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees, the <br />Lakewood Hospital Communiq' Advisory Committee, the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce, <br />the Lakewood-Rock.'y River Rotary Club, the Lakewood Saycees, the Beck Center Board of <br />Trustees, the Greater Cleveland Senior Housing Council the Greater Cleveland Assisted Living <br />Network; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. Larry has been a loving and devoted husband and father to his wife <br />Rosemary of 41 years and their daughter Ann Marie. NOW THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor and Council hereby congratulate Larry Faulhaber and <br />recognize him as the 1999 Grand Marshal of the Lakewood 4~ of July Parade. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Mayor and Council hereby extend their appreciation to Larry <br />Faulhaber for his years of dedicated community service. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to <br />forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Larry Faulhaber, and tha~ a copy of this Resolution <br /> <br />be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br /> <br />
