Crane for his public service in the City of Lakewood. x,~2-IEREAS, upon his retiremem effective October 22, 1999. Investigator Crane completed 27 years of pubtic service in the Division of Police; and \VHEREAS, during his Tenure with the Lakewood Division of Police Investigator John R. Crane was recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service m the Division of Police and to the entire community. The performance of bis duties and responsibilities, and his working relationships were always characterized by an obvious dedication to getting the job well done; and WHEREAS, Investigator Crane's. dedicated interest and devotion to law enforcement has had a valuable effect of efficiency and morale on this City and we wSsh m extend to him our sincere appreciation for his outstanding performance of duty, and WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the dedicated public service rendered by Investigator Crane be given public cognizance and recognition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF L.qXEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to Investigator Crane its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for his 27 years ofpubiic ser~qce for the City of Lakewood and further that this Council and Mayor wish him continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in his retirement. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Investigator John R.
