A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, for and on behalf of the City, to seek financial assistance from the State IssUe Two Infrastructure Bond Program for funding of the 2000 Street Reconstruction program and Water Main Replacement Program WHEREAS, pursuant to Article VIII of the Ohio Constitution, the State is authorized to issue bonds and other obligations of the State of Ohio for the purpose of financing public infrastructure capital improvements of political subdivisions as desigmated by law, and ~VHEREAS, pursuant to Section 164,06 of the Ohio Revised Code, the District One Public Works Integrating Committee is authorized to accept, evaluate and recommend applications for state financing of capital infrastructure improvement projects of political subdivisions in Cuyaimga County, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 16405 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Director of the Ohio Public Works Commission is authorized to accept and approve applications for state financing of capital infrastructure improvement projects of political subdiviaions in Cuyaboga County, and WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has conducted a capital inventory and needs assessment and has detemfined that it is necessal~ and desirable to apply for State I~sue Two hifrastructure Bond program funds for funding of the 2000 Street Reconstruction Program al~d Water Main Replacement program; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO Section 1. Tbe Mayor, for and on behalf of the City, is hereby authorized to apply to the District One Public Works Integrating Committee and the Director of the Ohin Public Works Commission for fthancial assistance for the following capital improvement projects' A Watermain Replacement Program · Eries Avenue · Lmming Avenue · RooseveR Avenue · Cedarwood Avenue · Robinwood Avenue (Detroit to Frm~klin Avenues) B Street Reconstruction Program · Lakewood Heights Boulevard (Berea to Woodward) · Narragansett Avenue Niagara Avenue (Riverside to Lakewood Heights Boulevard) Section 2 The Mayor, for m~d on behalf of the City, is further authorized to enter into any agreements as may be necessary m~d appropriate for obtaining such funds; said agreements to contain such terms and conditions and be in such form as the Director of Law deems necessary to protect the public interest, Section 3 It is found m~d determined that ail formal actions of this Council concerning m~d relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, that ail such deliberation of the Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with ail legal requirements .~ Pres}dent Mayor
