RESOLUTION NO. 74 4 8 - 2 0 0 0 <br /> <br />BY:Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, <br />Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Walter D. Hennie for his public service in the <br />Division of Fire for the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement effective December 3 I, 1999, Walter D. Hennie <br /> completed 29 years of public service as a Firefighter in the Division of Fire; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Division of Fire, Walter D. Hennie has <br /> been recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service not only to <br /> the Department of Public Safety, but to the entire community as well; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by Walter D. <br /> Hennie be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to Firefighter Walter D. <br />Hennie its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for his 29 years of public <br />service as a Firefighter for the City of Lakewood and further that this Council and Mayor wish <br />him continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in his retirement. ' <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed <br />to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Walter D. Hennie, and that a copy of this <br />Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
