RESOLUTION NO. 7449-2000 BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith. Adopted: A RESOLUTION commending Lakewood Police Department sergeant Kevin p. Galvin for his public service in the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, upon his retirement effective January 2, 2000, Sergeant Galvin completed 21 years of public 'service in the Division of Police; and WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Division of Police Sergeant Galvin was recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service to the Division of Police and to the entire community. The Performance of his duties and responsibilities, and his working relationships were always characterized by an obvious dedication to getting the job well done; and WHEREAS, Sergeant !alvin s dedicated interest ..... enforcement has had a valuable effect · ,-~u aev ' extend to him our sincere of efficiency and morale on this City ~°wne to law appreciation for his outstanding Performance of duty, and wish to WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the dedicated public service rendered by Sergeant Kevin p. Galvin be given public cognizance and recognition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to Sergeant Kevin p. Galvin its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for his 21 years of public service for the City of Lakewood and further that this Council and Mayor wish him continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in his retirement. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and dfi'ected to fonvard a certified copy of this Resolution to Sergeant Kev/n p.
