RESOLUTIONNO. 7452-00 BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, Roth, <br /> Seelie, Skindell, Smith <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION to welcome you as a new resident of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHBRBAS, the Council of the City of Lakewood is happy that you have chosen <br />to live here and is pleased to serve as your representatives in local, government; and <br /> <br /> ,, WHEREAS, on July 21, 1986, it came before the Council of the City of Lakewood <br />that giving new residents information regarding some basic laws and policies concerning their <br />new community may convey to them that the City is interested in ass/sting them, making them <br />feel .at home" more quickly; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the various city codes help to assure the community pride, by which <br />the history of the city is distinguished; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the comfortable Hying here may continue through knowledge of <br />basic laws and policies such as parking and refuse regulations, recycling guidelines, pet <br />informal/on and community development programs; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council wishes to warmly welcome you as a new resident of <br />this community; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY TI-IE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
