RESOLUTION NO. 7 4 9 7 - 0 0 <br /> <br />BY: Corirgan, FitzGerald, George, <br />Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to recognize Lakewood Neighbors and Don Vassel for their <br />commitment to improve the quahty of life in the C/ty of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEKEAS~ Lakewood Neighbors and Don Vassel take pride in the neighborhoods and <br />citizens of Lakewood; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Don Vassel and Lakewood Neighbors of all ages team Wgether in various <br />grassroots projects such as "Project new Faces" to learn from each other and work together; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lakewood Neighbors and Don Vassel are committed to a mission of <br />neighborhood cooperation, respect, tolerance and understanding; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lakewood Neighbors and Don Vassel work within our neighborhoods to <br />offer c/t/zen forums, volunteer oppon'un/ties, educational preserdat/ons and grassroots <br />government involvement to strengthen the community, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lakewoed Neighbors and Don Vassei make a pos/five difference in the City <br />of Lakewood; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Don Vassel and Lakewood Neighbors served as Grand Marshals for <br />Lakewoed's 4* o£ July parade in the year 2000; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section t. That this Council and Mayor hereby recognize and congratulate our own <br />Lakewood Neighbors and Don Vassel; <br /> <br /> Sect/on 2. That the Clerk o£ Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to <br />forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Lakewoed Neighbors and Don Vassel and that a <br />copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
