RESOLUTIONNO. 7504-00 BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith. <br /> <br /> A Resolution commending Tom Puliafico for his valued service to the residents of the City <br /> of Lakewood. <br /> <br />WHEREAS Tom Puliafico and his son Frank have operated a barber shop in Lakewood for <br /> nearly 20 years; <br /> <br />WHEREAS Tom Puliafico improved the building where T.D. & Son Barber Shop and Salon is <br /> now located and enhanced his business while maintaining the historic character of the <br /> neighborhood; <br /> <br />WHEREAS Tom Puliafico has established a "wall of fame" at the shop to honor the armed <br /> forces; <br /> <br />WHEREAS Tom Puliafico serves hi~ customers when they are ill by making house calls, cutting <br /> their hair and keeping them up-to-date on local news; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS throughout the years T.D. & Sons Barber Shop and Salon has been a hub of <br /> information for the neighborhood helping to keep the community together and <br /> maintaining comact with many people who have moved to other parts of the city or the <br /> county <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OH[O: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor extend to Tom Puliafico their appreciation <br />for his valued service to the residents of Lakewooch and his dedication to the community and his <br />tong time customers. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
