RESOLUTION NO. 7518-00 RBFBRRBD TO PUBLIC WORKS CMTB. 12/2':/00. BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, Seelie, Skindell, Smith. Roth, A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, for and on behalf of the City, to seek Federal Aid financial assistance through the Northeast Areawide Coordinating Agency to rehabilitate Vista Bridge; and WHEREAS, the Northeast Areawide Coordinating Agency is duly authorized by law to accept, evaluate and approve applications for Federal financing of capital transportation improvement projects; and WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has conducted a needs assessment and has determined that it is necessary and desirable to apply for Federal aid financing for the rehabilitation of Vista Bridge; and WI-IEREAS, the City of Lakewood wishes to design and administer construction this project to insure proper compliance with local construction standards and methods acceptable to the City of Lakewood; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO Section 1. The Mayor, for and on behalf ~fthe City, is hereby authorized to apply to the Northeast Areawi~e Coordinating Agency for Federal financial assistance for the Rehabilitation of Vista Bridge Project. Section 2. The Mayor, for and on behalf of the City, is further authorized to enter into any agreements as may be necessary and appropriate for obtaining such funds; said agreements to contain such terms and conditions and be in such form as the Director of Law deems necessary to protect the public interest. Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberation of the Council and of any of its committees that results in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements.
