BY: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7561-01 <br /> <br />Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, Roth, <br />Seelie, Skindell, Smith. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to recogni?~ members of The Lakewood Division of Police and <br />all peace officers during National Police Week 2001. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the week of May 13m through May 19m has been designated as <br />National Police Week, 2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, May 15th is National Peace Officers' Memorial Day when we honor <br />those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and recognize those who work 'daily to <br />protect and serve the citizens of our community; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by the <br />members of the Lakewood Division of Police and peace officers nationally be given <br />public cognizance and recognition during this time; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Lakewood, State of <br />Ohio: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to the members of the <br />Lakewood Division of Police and peace officers across the nation its appreciation for <br />their public service. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
