RESOLUTION NO. 7569-01 BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, Roth, Seelte, Skindell, Smith. A RESOLUTION to commend and acknowledge Ms. Lisa Thomas for her dedicated service as Assistant Director of Public Safety for the division of Building and Housing. WHEREAS, Lisa Thomas has given generously of her time and effort in managing the Division of Building and Housing and has served with dedication, distinction, passion and energetic leadership in her position as Assistant Director of Public Safety for Building and Housing; and, WHEREAS, Lisa Thomas has coordinated the reorganization of the building and housing division resulting in improved employee morale, record-setting numbers of inspections, and additional improvements in the inspections of rental units and in Project Pride housing checks; and, WHEREAS, Lisa Thomas has coordinated and helped implement in- house leadership activities for employees from various city departments to better educate and facilitate team-building, goal attainment, intercommunications, and various employee issues; and, WHEREAS, it is titting and proper that the service rendered by Ms. Thomas be given public cognizance and recognition, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to Lisa Thomas its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for her dedicated service as Assistant Director of Public Safety for Building and Housing and further that this Council and Mayor extend to Lisa our best wishes for many years of happiness in the future. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Lisa Thomas, and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting.
