RESOLUTION NO. 7571-01 BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, Roth, <br /> Seelie, Sktndell, Smith. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend John P. Gallagher for his public service as <br />a Commissioner with and President of the City of Lakewood's Civil Service <br />Commission. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, John Gallagher, was appointed to the Civil Service <br />Commission on May 21, 1996 and served until June 15, 2001, and during his tenure with <br />the Commission Mr. Oallagher served as President of the Commission for the year 1997, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during this time Mr. Oallagher provided this Commission <br />with effective and capable leadership, unselfishly gave of his time and constantly used the <br />skills and expertise for which he is known to guide and assist the members of this <br />Commission, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, John Gallagher served on the Commission for over five years <br />as provided by law; now therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Mayor and Council extend to John P. Gallagher their <br />appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for his dedicated public <br />service and outslanding contributions to the City of Lakewood as a member and President <br />of the Lakewood Civil Service Commission and further that we wish him continued years <br />of health, happiness and prosperity in his new endeavors. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to <br />forward a certified copy of this Resolution to John P.
