RESOLUTZON NO. 7.583-01 BY: <br /> <br />Corrigan, George, Seelie, <br />Skindell, Smith. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTZON authorizing and directing the Director of the Department of <br />Human Services, on behalf of the City, to enter into an Agreement with the Board of <br />Cuyahoga County Commissioners to accept and expend funds for the Ohio 3uvenile <br />Accountability Incentive Block Grant Program (3A[BG). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has been awarded $16,667.00 by the State of Ohio Office of <br />Criminal 3usfice Services to continue the City's No Outs ProJect for a one year period <br />commenting 3uly 1, 200I; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, last year the City was awarded $19,554 for the No Outs Programs <br />that has been established to provide services to area Juveniles and their families to help <br />reduce the number of juvenile offenders and repeat offenders, to identify At-Risk youth <br />for partidpation in anger management programs, to provide skill building services to <br />parents of juvenile offenders; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood, Department of Human Services, would like to <br />conUnue to provide these important services to juvenile offenders and their familia. <br />Now, therefore <br /> <br />BE 1'1' RESOLVED BY THE ClTY OF ~OOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of the Department of Human Services, on behalf <br />of the City, be and is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an Agreement with <br />the Board of Cuyahoga County CommiSSioners to accept and expend funds for the Ohio <br />.luvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant Program (3A[BG). <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Coundl <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this resolUtion were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and any .of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with ali legal requirements. <br /> <br />Pre, dent <br /> <br />M~yor <br /> <br /> <br />
