RESOLUTION NO.75/~.~O_~ 1 <br /> <br />BY:corrigan, FitzGerald, George, Seelie, <br /> Skindell, Smith. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Mayor for and on behalf of the City <br />of Lakewoed to enter into a Contract with the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging to accept <br />funds for the City's programs covering Social/Supportive and NutrilJon Services, such contract <br />providing partial funding for supplemental programs under T~ie III of the 1965 Older Americans <br />Act. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the western Reserve Area Agency on Aging is administering a <br />program of grants from the Federal Government under Title III of the 1965 Older Americans Act <br />whereby this City may obtain funds to provide Programs for persons 60 years of age or older; now, <br />Iherefom, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, for and on behalf of the City of Lakewood, be and she <br />is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract wilh the Westem Reserve Area Agency <br />on Aging, providing partial funding of the City's Program under T~e III of the 1965 Older Americans <br />Act. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this Resolulion were adopted in an open meeting of this <br />Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in <br />such formal aclion were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />PRI~SIDENT <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />
