RESOLU~ON NO. 7601-01 BY: Corrigan, Fit~.Gerald, George, <br /> Seelle, Sklndell, Smith. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTZON author'Eing and directing the Mayor, on behalf of the City, to <br />apply for finandal assistance under the Coastal Management Assistance Grant Program <br />for purposes of funding waterfront projects at Lakewood Park. <br /> WHEREAS, the State of Ohio, through the Ohio Department of Natural <br />Resources, Division of Peal Estate and Land Management, administers financial <br />assistance for coastal management purposes, through the Ohio Coastal Management <br />Program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood would benefit from seeking outside sources to <br />fund the Lakewood Park waterfront improvements as detailed in the Parks Master Plan. <br />Now, therefore <br /> <br />BE Tr RESOLVED BYTHE CiTY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHTO <br /> <br /> SecUon 1. That the Mayor, on behalf of the City, be and is hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute and file an application for Coastal Management Assistance <br />Grant finandal assistance with the Ohio Department of natural Resources and to <br />provide all information and documentation required to become eligible for possible <br />funding assistance. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the City of Lakewood does agree to obligate the funds <br />required to satisfactorily complete the proposed project and become eligible for <br />reimbursement under the terms and conditions of the Coastal Management Assistance <br />Grant Program. <br /> <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
