RESOLUTION NO. 7614-02 BY: Corrigan, Dunn, FitzGerald, George, Roth, Seelie, Skindei1. A RESOLUTION to commend Ray Charles Wagner upon achieving the rank of Eagle with the Boy Scouts of America. WHEREAS, Ray Charles Wagner has achieved the exceptional distinction of attaining the rank of Eagle with the Boy Scouts of Amedca, demonstrating his outstanding leadership, pride in his community, pdde in his nation and pride in himself, and WHEREAS, Ray Charles Wagner has maintained an enviable record as a member of Troop 115 in Lakewood while progressing to the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America, that of an Eagle Scout, and WHEREAS, the achievements of Ray Charles Wagner in attaining this honor bdngs credit to himself, his famity and his community, and sets an example for both children and adults in the community of Selfless dedication to others, which stands as a shining example of the best attributes of our young people and our way of life, and WHEREAS, it is f~ting and proper that the honor attained by Ray Charles Wagner in achieving the rank of Eagle with the Boy Scouts of America be given public cognizance and recognition: now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council of the City of Lakewood extends to Ray Charles Wagner its congratulations and the congratulations of all the citizens of this community for his outstanding achievement in attaining the rank of Eagle with the Boy Scouts of America and by so doing, setting an example for all members of this community to follow. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she hereby authorized and directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to Ray Charles Wagner, 1075 Kirtland Lane, Lakewood, Ohio 44107, and that a copy of this resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting.
