RESOLUTION: 7633-02 <br /> <br />BY: Corrigan, Dunn, FitzGerald, <br />George, Roth, Seelfe, Sktndell. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to honor Lakewood resident Michael Kinder of Boy Scout Troop #373 <br />of St. Clement's Church, Lakewood, Ohio as the recipient of the award of Eagle Scout, the <br />highest honor presented by the Boy Scouts of America; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout badge represents an understanding of community and <br />nation, and a willingness on the part of the wearer to help others; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Michael Kinder has distinguished himself in scouting by <br />earning merit badges and by passing every test in order to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, <br />therefore demonstrating his strength of character and reliability; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Kinder has attained the rank of Eagle Scout through dedication <br />and diligence, and his high achievement is an inspiration to others. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor do hereby extend to Michael Kinder their <br />expression of pride in his accomplishment of Eagle Scout. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed <br />to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Michael Kinder, 2160 Brown Road, Lakewood, <br />OH 44107 and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this <br />Council, and that all such deliberations of this CoUncil and of any of its committees that resulted <br />in such fonnal action were in meetings open to the public 'in compliance with all legal <br />requirements. <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />CLE~ <br />MAYOR <br /> <br /> <br />
