RESOLUTION NO. 7687-02 <br /> <br />BY: Corrigam, FitzGerald, George <br /> Roth, Seelie, Sktndell <br /> <br />the Board of ~ <br />· Lakewood Community Progress, [hc. (LCPI) for the full one- <br />year term beginning July 1, 2002 and ending June 30, 2003. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood and the Lakewood Chamber of <br />Commerce have concluded that it is necessary and proper to form a non-profit <br />economic development corporation to assist in facilitating sound city-wide economic <br />development; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, LCPI has been incorporated to encourage and support quality <br />city-wide planning, economic development, redevelopment, rehabilitation, and <br />restoration of the unique assets of the City of Lakewood; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, 'the By-Laws of LCP! call for the Lakewood City Council to <br />appoint one Councilmember to the Board of Directors of LCPI. NOW THEREFORE, <br /> <br /> BE Tr RESOLVED BY .THE cTrY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Council hereby appoints ~ <br />as a member of the Board of Directors .of Lakewood Community Progres~nc. (LCP!) <br />for the full one-year term beginning July 1, 2002 and ending ,lune 30, 2003. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this Resolution were adopted in an <br />open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of the Council and of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />APproved <br /> <br /> <br />
