RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />7699-02 <br /> <br />BY: Corrigan, Dunm, FitzGerald, <br />George, Roth, Seelie, Skindell. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to recognize William E. Beckett on the occasion of his <br />retirement from public service in the Division of Refuse and Recycling for the City of <br />Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement, effective September 20, 2002 William E. <br />Beckett completed nearly 30 years of public service in the Division of Refuse and <br />Recycling, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, William E. Beckett began work with the City of Lakewood on <br />October 16, 1972, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, It is fitting .that all the citizens of the City of Lakewood express <br />their appreciation to William E. Beckett for his service to the residents of the City of <br />Lakewood. Now therefore, <br /> <br />BE It RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council.' and Mayor, hereby extend to William E. <br />Beckett its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for his dedicated <br />service to the LakewoOd community. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward this Resolution to Mr. William E. Beckett, 1489 Olivewood Avenue, <br />Lakewood, OH 44107 and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of <br />the meeting. <br /> <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br /> <br />
