AEF~RAED TO TH~ COMMITTEE OF THE <br />%H~0LE ,. 1/6/03. <br /> <br />RESOLUT[ON NO. 77[5-03 <br /> <br />Corrigan, Dever, Dunn, FitzGerald, <br />George, Roth, Seelfe. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to create the Lakewood Skate Park Committee for the <br />purpose of providing assistance in the design of the Skate Park to be located at <br />Lakewood Park. <br /> <br /> WHEEF. AS, a skate park has been Included in the Lakewood Park Master <br />Plan that has been adopted by the Planning CommisSion and approved by <br />Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEEEAS, expansion of public parks, recreation and cultural services, <br />including a skate park, have a positive Impact on residential life In the <br />City of Lakewood by strengthening families, promoting healthy child development <br />and social skills, increasing community and providing and Improving the quality <br />of life for residents; and <br /> <br /> WHEEEAS, in order to implement the construction of a skate park, this <br />Council wishes to create a committee to assist in the design phase of the park. <br /> <br />BE IT OEDAZNED BY THE CTI'Y OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Lakewood Skate Park Committee ("Committee'9 is <br />hereby created for the purpose of assisting in the design of the Skate Park to be <br />located at Lakewood Park. The Committee shall consist of seven (7) members. <br />The Director of Public Works shall serve as a member, the Mayor shall appoint <br />three (3) members and Council shall aPpoint three (3) members. The Committee <br />shall terminate upon the building of the Skate Park, <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in <br />an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council <br />and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings <br />open to the public in compllance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Adopted: ~ "~, ;10 0 Z <br /> <br />Approved: ~ (~, <br /> <br /> <br />
