RESOLUTION NO. 7751-03 BY:corrigan, Dever, Dunn, FitzGerald, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor as Director of Public Safety, on behalf of <br />the City, to enter into an Agreement with the Federal Emergency Management Agency <br />to accept and expend funds for the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program for Fire <br />Operations and Firefighter Safety and to match funds for this project in the amount of <br />$7,656.00. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has been awarded $17,866.00 by the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency for the purchase of breathing air equipment totaling $25,522.00; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the grant program requires that the City match thirty percent (30%) <br />of the total project cost; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, acceptance of this grant will permit the City to purchase necessary <br />safety equipment for the City's contribution of $7,656.00. Now, therefore <br /> <br />BE iT RESOLVED BY. THE c_YrY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. The Mayor as Director of Public Safety, is hereby authorized, on <br />behalf of the City, to enter into an Agreement with the Federal Emergency Management <br />Agency to accept and expend funds for the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program for <br />Fire Operations and Firefighter Safety and to match funds for this project in the amount <br />of $7,656.00. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Presi~l~nt <br /> <br />Mayor / <br /> <br /> <br />
