RESOLUTION NO. 7754-03 BY: Corrigan, Dever, Dunn, FitzGerald, George, Roth, Seelie A RESOLUTION to congratulate Brianna Redding on placing first in the annual statewide "Earth Day to Earth Day" poster contest. WHEREAS, Brianna Redding is a fourth grade student at Madison Elementary School in Lakewood, Ohio; and, WHEREAS, Brianna Redding entered her poster into the annual "Earth Day to Earth Day" poster contest sponsored by the Ohio Division of Recycling & Litter Prevention; and, WHEREAS, Brianna Redding won first place in the poster contest and has decided to donate one of her prizes, a recycled bench, to the City of Lakewood to be used in the Lakewood Park; and, WHEREAS, Brianna Redding is to be publicly Commended for her accomplishment and we offer to her our appreciation for the fine publicity she has brought tothe community of Lakewood and to the cause of litter prevention. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and Mayor hereby extend to Brianna Redding our congratulations on winning first place in the statewide "Earth Day to Earth Day" poster contest. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to forward a copy this Resolution to, Brianna Redding and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. Section $. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements.
