BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C]ITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OH]lO: <br /> <br /> SECTION :L The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to send a notice <br />to the Board of Education of the Lakewood City School District regarding this Council's present <br />intent to consider a proposed Development Agreement relating to the West End Redevelopment <br />Area and the exemption from real property taxation of more than seventy-five percent (75%) of <br />the assessed value of the improvements constructed pursuant to the Development Agreement, as <br />required by Section 725.02(B), Ohio Revised Code. Such notice shall be in substantially the form <br />of Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, with such changes thereto as <br />are not adverse to the City and as are,approved by the Director of Law. <br /> <br /> SECT]ION 2. ]It is hereby found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the pass.age of this Resolution were adopted in open meetings of this <br />Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in <br />any such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in comPliance with all legal <br />requirements including the City's Charter and Codified Ordinances. <br /> <br /> SECT]ION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be 'an emergency measure <br />necessary for the reasons set forth and defined in the preamble to this Resolution, and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least five (5) of its members elected to Council, this Resolution <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage by the Council and approval by the <br />Mayor; otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />·Adopted: <br /> <br />- y ' President <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />C rk of Co,n/ 1 <br />t~or' / ' <br /> <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
