RESOLUTION NO. 7785'03 BY: Corrigan, Dever, Dunn, FitzGerald <br /> <br /> George, Roth, Seelie <br /> A RESOLUT;ON to thank the Lakewood Division of Youth, Help To <br /> Others Program members for their participation in the 4th of July Parade as Grand <br /> Marshals and to recognize their more than 53,000 hours of volunteerism in service to <br /> the Community of Lakewood and the Greater Cleveland Community. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mayor Madeline A. Cain and the 2003 City of Lakewood <br /> Parade Committee chose the Lakewood Division of Youth, Help To Others Program to <br /> be the 2003 Grand Marshals; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Lakewood Division of Youth, Help To Others Program is <br />celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year with more than 1,600 youth volunteers having <br />contributed over 53,000 hours of service over the past ten years. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section' 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to the Lakewood <br />Division of Youth, Help To Others Program its appreciation and that of all the citizens of <br />this community for their exceptional community spirit and dedication to the Lakewood <br />corhmunity. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward this Resolution to the Lakewood Division of Youth, Help To Others <br />c/p Celia Dorsch, and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the <br />meeting. <br /> <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Adopted: ~ '~-0 ~_~ <br /> <br />Approved <br /> <br /> <br />
