RESOLUTION NO. ~ <br /> <br />FitzGerald, Madigan, Seelie. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to appoint Joseph P. Gibbons as a <br />member of the Civil Service Commission for the three-year term ending <br />December 31, 2006 <br /> <br /> WHEILEAS, a timely appointment to the Civil Service Commission <br />will provide immediate representation on the Commission and contribute to the <br />immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and welfare in <br />the City for the usual daily operation of the City; now, theref6re, <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY ~ CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br /> SeclSon 1. That in accordance with Article XI, Section 1. of the <br />Second Amended Charter o£ the City of Lakewood, Council hereby <br />appoints Joseph P. Gibbons as a member of the Civil Service <br />Commission for the three year term ending Dec&mber 31, 2006. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force <br />/mmediately Upon its adoption end approval by the Mayor for reasons previously <br />set forth and defined, provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least five (5) of <br />its members elected to Council, otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after <br />the earliest per/od allowed by law. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
