RESOUTION NO. 7840 -04 <br />BY:..Corrigan, Demro, Dever, Dunn, <br />FitzGerald, Madigan, seelie. <br />A RESOLUTION to appoint n T. F W'11" as a <br />member of the Charter Review Commission of the City of Lakewood <br />commencing January, 2004. <br />WHEREAS, the Second Amended Charter requires <br />appointments to the Charter Review Commission be made in <br />January 2004 and each tenth year thereafter, and <br />WHEREAS, five members of the Commission shall be <br />appointed by City Council, and <br />WHEREAS, a timely appointment to the Charter <br />Review Commission will meet the requirements of the Second <br />Amended Charter and contribute to the necessary daily <br />operation of the City; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That Council hereby appoints <br />Dr. Lawrence F. Keller as a member of the Charter Review <br />Commission for the indefinite term commencing January, 2004, in <br />accordance with Article XX1II, Section 8, of the Second Amended <br />Charter of the City of Lakewood. <br />Section 2. . That this resolution shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption by the Council and approval by <br />the Mayor for reasons previously set forth and defined, provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least five (5) of its members elected <br />to Council, otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the <br />earliest period allowed by law. <br />Adopted: zU 2vv <br />Approved: rZ2 X 00 <br />PRESIDENT <br />CLERK 1- 0 <br />MAYOR <br />
