RESOUTION NO. <br /> <br />7843a04 <br /> <br />BY: Corrigan, Demro, ~ever, Durm, <br /> FitzGerald Madigan, Seelie. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to appoint st~w n~v~ r as a <br />member of the Charter Review Comm/ssion of the City o£ Lakewood <br />commencing January, 2004. <br /> <br /> WI-1EREAS, the Second Amended Charter requ{res <br />appointments to the Charter Review Commission be made in <br />January 2004 and each tenth year thereafferl and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, five members of the Commission shall be <br />appointed by City Council, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a timely appointment to the Charter <br />Review Commission will meet the requirements of the Second <br />Amended Charter arid contribute to the necessary daily <br />operation of the City; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE 1T RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Council hereby appoints <br />Steve Davis as a member of the Charter Review <br /> Commission for the indefinite term commencing January, 2004, in <br /> accordance with Article XXIII, Section 8, of the Second Amended <br /> Charter of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2. , That this resolution shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption by the Cotmcil and approval by <br />the Mayor for reasons previously set forth and defined, provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least five (5)of its members elected <br />to CounciI, otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the <br />earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved://k~%O/'(~ .o2~, 22~0 ~/ <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />CLERK ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
