RESOLUTION NO 7860-04 FitzGerald, Madigan, Seelie. A RESOLUTION commending Mr. Nell A MacDonald for his public service as a member of the Keep Lakewood Beautiful Board from November 1983 through December 31,2003 WHEREAS, Mi. Nell A. MacDonald served 20 consecutive years as a member of the Keep Lakewood Beautiful Board as he helped to improve the environment of Lakewood; and, WHEREAS, During his tenure as a member of the Keep Lakewood Beautiful Board Mr. Nell A. MacDonald always had a cheerful word for everyone A very dependable board member, he rarely missed a meeting or activity; and, WHEREAS, It is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by Mr. Nell A. MacDonald be given public cognizance and recognition, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO' Section 1 That this Council and Mayor wish to extend to Mr. Nell A. MacDonald their appreciation 'for the valued and dedicated public service he has given to our community as a member of the Keep Lakewood Beautiful Board and that all citizens of this community also join in an expression of appreciation by thi§ public recognition Section 2 That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to Mr. Nell A. MacDonald and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting Section 3 It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements PRESIDENT ~ CLERK MA~'OR ~;f ' /
