Corrigan from that office for the purpose of assuming the position of Director of Law in the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, the remaining members of City Council ere empowered to fill such *acancy pursuant to Section 2, of Article III of the Second Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood; and WHEREAS, in order to fulfill the requirements of a seven member City Council, to provide for complete Ward representation and to appoint a successor within sikty (60) days of the 9ccurrence of a vacancy, this resolution shall take immediate effect upon its adoption; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That~ic-/c ~0~!q~,t~-~ is hereby appointed to the vacancy in the Office of Member of Council?Ward 1 of the Lakewood City Council pursuant to Section 2 of Article III of the Second Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood. Section 2. R is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted iix an open meeting of this Council and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. Sedtion 3. That this resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption for the reasons stated separately and provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least five (5) members elected to Council, otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by Adopted: M~AY'O R ~/ /
