<br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />7984-05 <br /> <br />BY: Corrigan, Demro, Dever, Dunn, <br />FitzGerald, Madigan, Seëlie. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION of intent to appropriate funds in the amount of $50,000 from the <br />Lakewood Hospital Fund on an annual basis for a period of five years for the purpose of <br />supporting renovations to the Lakewood YMCA, for a total dollar amount not to exceed <br />Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000) and subject to Council's annual <br />approval of the Budget of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Lakewood City Council wish to provide funding for <br />renovations at the Lakewood YMCA; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, both the Mayor and Council recognize the outstanding effort being <br />made by the Lakewood YMCA to fund much needed renovations and expansion of the <br />existing facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to support and encourage updated and <br />expanded recreational facilities within the community. Now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That Lakewood City Council and the Administration intends to <br />appropriate funds in the amount of $50,000 from the Lakewood Hospital Fund on an <br />annual basis for a period of five years for the purpose of supporting renovations to the <br />Lakewood YMCA, for a total dollar amount not to exceed Two Hundred Fifty Thousand <br />Dollars ($250,000) and subject to the annual approval of the Budget of the City Of <br />Lakewood. <br /> <br />Section 2.
