<br />A RESOLUTION declaring the Intent of the Council of the City of Lakewood to vacate
<br />a portion of the public right-of-way situated on Hazelwood Avenue, in the City of Lakewood, Ohio.
<br />
<br />way; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the city of Lakewood desires to vacate said portions of the public right-of-
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, this Council by a vote of at least five (5) members elected hereto
<br />determines that this Resolution is ah emergency measure, and that this Resolution shall take effect
<br />at the earliest date possibie as set forth in ARTICLE III, SECTIONS 10 AND 13 of the SECOND
<br />AMENDED CHARTER OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, and is necessary to provide for the immediate
<br />preservation of the public property, health and safety, and for the usual daily operation of a
<br />municipal department. NOW THEREFORE,

<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO:
<br />
<br />Sectioh 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood hereby declares its intent to
<br />vacate a portion of the public right-of-way located on Hazelwood Avenue, said portion being
<br />further described as follows:
<br />
<br />Situated in the State of Ohio, County of Cuyahoga, and City of Lakewood and being
<br />part of Section No. 21, Original Rockport Township, in the Connecticut Western
<br />Reserve and more particularly described as follows:
<br />
<br />Beginning at a monument at the easterly line of Nichoison Avenue, (60 feet wide,)
<br />and the centerline of Hazelwood Avenue, (40 feet wide,) and being The Place of
<br />Beginning;
<br />
<br />Thence easterly, along the centerline of Hazelwood Avenue, South 89 deg. 43' 43"
<br />East, 123.73 feet, to a monument box, being the ahgle point in said centerline;
<br />
<br />Thence continuing easterly, along "aid centerline, North 88 deg. 15' 37" East,
<br />490.81 feet, to a point, and being The Principal Place of Beginning;
<br />
<br />Thence northerly, North 1 deg. 45' 32" West, 20.00 feet, and being the northeriy
<br />portion of Hazelwood Avenue right-of-way, to a point;
<br />
<br />Thence continuing along the northeriy right-of-way line, North 88 deg. 15' 37" East,
<br />92.71 feet, to a point of curvature in said line;
<br />
<br />Thence continuing along the right-of-way, being 18.25 feet along the arc of a curve
<br />to the left (Radius = 31.58 feet and bears North 1 deg. 44' 23" East, Delta = 33
<br />deg. 06' 41",) a chord bearing and distance of North 71 deg. 42' 16" East, 18.00
<br />feet, to a point of a reverse curve;

<br />Thence continuing along the right-of-way, being 128.92 feet aiong the arc of a
<br />curve to the right (Radius = 30.00 feet and bears South 34 deg. 51' 04" East, Delta
<br />= 246 deg. 13' 22",) a chord bearing and distance of South 1 deg. 44' 23" East,
<br />50.26 feet, to a point of a reverse curve;

<br />Then continuing along the right-of-way, being 18.25 feet along the arc of a curve to
<br />the left (Radius = 31.58 feet and bears South 31 deg. 22' 18" West, Delta = 33
<br />deg. 06' 41",) a chord bearing and distance of North 75 deg. 11' 02" West, 18.00
<br />feet, to a point along the southerly right-of-way line;

<br />Thence westerly, along the right-of-way, South 88 deg. 15' 37" West, 92.70 feet, to

<br />Beginning, containing 6800.74 sq.ft. (0.1561 acres of land), as surveyed by Norman
