REFERRED TO THE FINANCE COMMITTEE 4/3/06. "- RESOLUTION NO.: 8042-05B BY: Antonio, Butler, Demro. Dever, FitzGerald, Seelie. AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION amending Resoiution No. 8042-0SA, adopted March 6, 2006 for the purpose of authorizing the Director of Finance to pay the cost of an additional membership [Ohio Economic Development Association (OEDA)] of municipal employees and/or Departments and Divisions in certain associations for the year 2006, and declaring such memberships to be in the public interest. WHEREAS! memberships of municipal employees in organizations are designed to enhance the operatión of municipal departments by the exchange of ideas! information and experience to the public benefit¡ and WHEREAS, this Council by a vote of at least five (5) membèrs elected thereto determines tnat this resolution is an emergency measure, and that this résolution shall take effect at the earliest date possible as set forth in ARTICLE III, SECfONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMENDED CHARTER OF THE cm OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public property, health and safety, and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments in that the annual membership year is the calendar year and the City is losing the benefit of . Now Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That Resolution No. 8042-05A, adopted Marèh 6, 2006 currently reading as follows: Section 1.
