RESOLUTION NO. 8053-05 <br /> <br />FitzGerald, Madigan, Seelie. <br /> <br /> A RESOLU'~ON to a~know edge and support implementation of the City of <br />Lakewood Youth Master Plan initiative, a strategic planning process to guide the City, <br />Schools and community stakeholders in the delivery of programs and services to youth <br />and families in Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood is one of six natio0wide municiPalities tO <br />participate in the National League of Cities Youth Master Plan Technical Assistance <br />initiative that will culminate in a community strategic plan for youth ages 0 to 21 years <br />and their families, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Youth MaSter Plan Initiative involves a strong collaborative <br />partnership between the City and Lakewood City Schools in both the development and <br />future implementaUon of the Youth Master Plan, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council will supPort this initiative through both participation <br />in the Blue Ribbon Task Force and promotion of community involvement in the planning <br />process, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is committed to integrating Youth master Plan strategies into <br />all aspects of the City organization and the Lakewood Community Vision, and; <br /> <br />BE ~F RESOLVED BY THE C~q~' OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the City Council has hereby declared its commitment to the <br />Youth Ma~ter Plan initiative, a collaborative partnership between the City of Lakewood <br />and Lakewood City Schools. <br /> <br /> section 2. That the City of Lakewood does agree to obligate the resources <br />required to saUsfactorily complete the initiative. <br /> <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all legal requirements, <br /> <br />Ado~ted~ <br /> <br />Approved: ,~~ <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />C'lerl~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
