RESOLUTION NO 8084-06 <br /> <br /> BY: Antonio, Butler, Demro, <br />Dever~ FitzGerald, Seelie. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to reco~aize Geraldine Murphy on the occasion of her retirement from <br />public service in the Department of Planning and Development, Division of Comm~mity <br />Development for the City of Lal~ewood <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon her retirement, Geraldine Murphy, Assistant Director, has dedicated <br />over 30 years to the City of Lakewood, all of wtfich were spent in the Division of Community <br />Development (formerly known as the Community Development Corporation of Lakewood; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Geraldine Murphy has made a significant contribution to the City of <br />Lakewood's revitalization as a result of her extensive knowledge of the many laws and <br />regulations related to administering the federal Community Development Block Grant funds <br />utilized by the City of Lakewood, Division of Community Development; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is appropriate to aclmowledge Geraldine Murphy for her dedication to the <br />citizens and businesses of Lakewood, Ohio Her expertise was essential in the creation and <br />rganagement of the Community Development Corporation of Lakewood, now known as the <br />Division of Cormnunity Development and should be cormnended; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting that all the citizens of the City of Lal~ewood express their lrue <br />appreciation to Geraldine Murphy for her professionalism. Now, therefore; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY TItE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO' <br /> <br /> Section 1 That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to Geraldine Murphy, its <br />appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this commmtity for her dedicated service to the <br />Lakewood community <br /> <br /> Section 2, That the ~lerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to forward this <br />Resolution to Mrs Geraldine Murphy and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the <br />~ninutes of the meeting <br /> <br /> Section 3 It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Councii concerning <br />and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this CounciI~ <br />and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of it committees that resulted in such <br />formal action were in nmetings open to the public in compliance with ali legal requirements <br /> <br />Approved' ']~/~/4,~~ fl ~ <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
