RESOLUTIO~ NO 8171-07 <br /> <br />Dever, ~itzGerald, Madigan. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION Congratulating Hayden Bish, Hugh Campbell, Daniel Cromptun, Luke <br />DeBaltzo, George Harkenrider, Blue Keough, Kyle Masters, Cooper StraChm~, and Christian <br />Styles for being awarded Cub Scout's highest award, the Arrow of Light <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during their years of Cub Scouting, the boys participated in many activities, <br />actin~ as leaders of their den, participating in flag ceremonies, vis/ting gogermnant offices, <br />camping, and learning about the Purposes of Cub Scouting that include; Character Development, <br />Spiritual Growth, Good Citizenship, Sportsmanship, Family Understanding, Respectful <br />Relationships, Personal Achievement, Friendly Service, and Fun and Advantum, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the boys learned the twelve core values of Cub Scouting and had the <br />oppor~nity of demonstrating values such as citizenship, compassion, cooperation, courage, faith, <br />health and fitness, honesty, perseverance, positive attitude, resourcefulness, respect and <br />responsibility; now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Com~cil and Mayor wish to congratulate the nine scouts of Pack <br />#115- Dover-Rockport District, for being named the recipients of the prestigious Arrow of Light <br />Award and further wish to congratulate Cubmaster Tim Wilt and filth grade WEBELOS Den <br />Leader Dan Harkenrider, and Assistant Leaders Craig Strachan and Gary Bish for contributing to <br />their success <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Lakew0od City Council is hereby authorized and directed to <br />forward a copy of this reSolution to Cub Scout Pack 115 Cubmaster Tim Wilt, and that a copy of <br />this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br /> Section 3 It is found and determined that ail formal actions of the Council concerning <br />and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, <br />and that all such deliberation of Council and any of its committees that resulted in such formal <br />action were in meetings open to the public hi compliance w/th all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />CLERK~} <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br /> <br />
