RESOLUTION NO 8189-07 BY: Antonio, Butler, Demro, Dever, <br /> FitzGerald, Madigan, Seelie. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to congratulate Pm~ell Egan as being named 2007 Business <br />Person of the Year by the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce and to further congratulate <br />Mr Egan on the occasion of his 21 year auniversary as owner of the West End Tavern a <br />Lakewood Business that has become a model Lakewood institution; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Lakewood Chamber Of Commerce has reco~ized an <br />outstanding ~nember of the business community for each of the past 20 years through the <br />award of Business Person of the Year' <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Nmninees are business people who work to better the community of <br />Lakewood by contributing time and effort in civic, recreational, school and/or chin:ch <br />activities; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Parnell Egan has demonstrated generosity and civic support through <br />the participation and sponsorship of hundreds of civic events through the years including <br />but not limited to St. James Church, Junior Women's Club, Lakewood Charitable <br />Assistance Corp and many others; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The West End Tavern has been for 21 years"a favorite west side <br />public house of Greater Cleveland and shines as a model civic institution in the City of <br />Lakewood because of the spirit, leadership and civic involvement of business owner <br />Parnell Egan; now, therefore,., <br /> <br />BE iT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1 That this Council and Mayor wish to commend Pm'nell Egan <br /> <br /> Section 2.
