RESOLUTION NO. 8275-08 BY; Antonio, Bullock, Butler, Dever, Madigan, Powes, Summers. A RESOLUTION to thank Mr. Kenneth Warren, Executive Director of the Lakewood Public Library, for participating as the 2008 Grand Marshal in the City of Lakewood 4th of July Parade, WHEREAS, Ken Warren, a long time resident of Lakewood, is an active member of our community and serves as an advisor to the local newspaper the Lakewood Observer; and, WHEREAS, Mayor Edward FitzGerald and the 2008 City of Lakewood Parade Committee chose Ken Warren to be the Grand Marshal; and, WHEREAS, Ken Warren is to be recognized for his support and involvement in the community of Lakewood, Now therefore; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to Ken Warren their appreciation as well as the appreciation of all the citizens of this community for his exceptional community spirit and dedication to the Lakewood community. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward this Resolution to Ken Warren and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements.
