RESOLUTION NO. 8310-08 BY; Antonio, Bullock, Butler, Dever, <br />Madigan, Powers, Summers. <br />A RESOLUTION to commend Shawn Michael Buehner upon achieving <br />the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. <br />WHEREAS, Shawn has achieved this honor, a position which is reached <br />by only about one out of one hundred boy scouts, and <br />WHEREAS, Shawn has shown exceptional distinction in attaining the <br />rank of Eagle with the Boy Scouts of America demonstrating his outstanding leadership, <br />pride in his community, pride in his nation and pride in himself, and <br />WHEREAS, Shawn maintained an enviable record as a member of Boy <br />Scout Troop 293 while progressing to Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of <br />America, and <br />WHEREAS, the advancement of Shawn Michael Buehner to the rank of <br />Eagle Scout brings credit to himself, his family, his scout leaders, and the entire <br />Lakewood community; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br />Section 1. That this Council of the City of Lakewood extends to Shawn <br />Michael Buehner, its congratulations and that of all the citizens of this community for his <br />outstanding achievement. in attaining the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of <br />America and by so doing setting an extraordinary example for all members of this <br />community. <br />Section 2.
