RESOLUTION NO. 8345-09 By; Antonio, Bullock, Butler, Dever, <br />Madigan, Powers. <br />A RESOLUTION commending Maria Parke for public service as a member of the <br />Lakewood Citizens Advisory Committee for federally funded grant programs. <br />WHEREAS, Maria Parke served as a member of the Lakewood Citizens Advisory <br />Committee for federally funded grant programs for Fiscal Years 2006, 2007, <br />2008, and 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, during the tenure as a member of the Citizens Advisory Committee <br />Maria Parke, demonstrated sincere interest in the preservation and future <br />development of our community and served actively on the Committee, and such <br />service contributed substantially to the public interest; and <br />WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service ,rendered by Maria <br />Parke be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor extend to Maria Parke their <br />appreciation and that of all citizens of this community for the valued and <br />dedicated public service as a member of the Lakewood Citizens Advisory <br />Committee, and wishes to express that appreciation by this public recognition. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby authorized and directed to <br />forward a personal certified copy of, this Resolution to the members who <br />completed their service to the Lakewood Citizens Advisory Committee for <br />federally funded grant programs, and that a copy of this Resolution be spread <br />upon the minutes of the meeting. <br />Adopted:_~tti, L(, 2UU~ <br />Approved: ~ <br />President <br />
