RESOLUTION NO. 8 X98-10 BY; Antonio, Bullock, Butler, Madigan, <br />Powers, Smith, Summers. <br />A RESOLUTION to welcome you as a new resident of the City of <br />Lakewood. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Lakewood is happy that you have <br />chosen to live here and is pleased to serve as your representatives in local government, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, on July 21, 1986, it came before the Council of the City of <br />Lakewood that giving new residents information regarding some basic laws and policies <br />concerning their new community may convey to them that the City is interested in <br />assisting them; making them feel "at home" more quickly, and <br />WHEREAS, the various city codes help to assure the community pride, by <br />which the. history of the city is distinguished, and <br />WHEREAS, the comfortable living here may continue through knowledge <br />of basic laws and policies such as parking and refuse regulations, recycling guidelines, <br />pet information and community development programs, and <br />WHEREAS; this Council, and all of the citizens of the City of Lakewood, <br />wishes to warmly welcome you as a new resident of this community; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That this Council, for itself and on behalf of all of the citizens of <br />this community, warmly welcomes you as a new resident of the City of Lakewood and <br />wishes for you much happiness, gratification and success in your new surroundings. <br />Section 2.
