RESOLUTION N0. 8417-10 BY: Antonio, Bullock, Butler, <br />Madigan, Powers, Smith, Summers. <br />A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor to accept, on behalf of the City of <br />Lakewood, $455.00 from Steel Valley Credit Urion for the purchase of a Bike <br />Rodeo Kit that will facilitate the operation of the Bike Rodeo and the instruction of <br />youth in bicycle safety. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood, Division of Police would like to conduct a <br />Bike Rodeo to instruct youth in bicycle safety; and <br />WHEREAS, Steel Valley Credit Union has offered to donate $455.00 <br />for the purchase of a kit that will facilitate the start up of the program. Now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEINOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That the Mayor to accept, on behalf of the City of Lakewood, <br />$455.00 from Steel Valley Credit Union for the purchase of a Bike Rodeo Kit that <br />will facilitate the operation of the Bike Rodeo and. the instruction of youth in <br />bicycle safety. <br />Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in <br />an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and <br />of any of its committees that resulted in such formal actions were in meetings <br />open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements. <br />Adopted:.
