RESOLUTION NO: $432-10 BY: Antonio, Bullock, Butler, Madigan, Powers, Smith, Summers. A RESOLUTION acknowledging Mr. William "Bill" Hritz for providing over twenty years of volunteer services to Medicare recipients in Lakewood under the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIP) WHEREAS; after retiring from Air Canada, Bill Hritz attended a specialized training by the State of Ohio in 1989 to become a volunteer for OSHIP with the primary goal to eliminate the fear of clients trying to manage their medical bills; and, WHEREAS; Bill Hritz assisted Lakewood seniors from February 1990 until April 2010, providing over 200 hours each year and, during this time, he amassed a broad knowledge and understanding of the complex Medicare System and was known for his patience, compassion and attention to detail; and, WHEREAS; Bill has been a tremendous asset to the clients and staff of the Lakewood Division of Aging and will be missed as he enjoys time with his family, children and grandchildren; and BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and Mayor commends William "Bill" Hritz for over twenty years of service to senior residents under the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program . Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to Bill Hritz, 3895 West 213~h Street, Fairview Park, Ohio 44126 and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting.
