RESOLUTION NO. 8433-10 BY: Antonio, Bullock, Butler, Madigan, <br />Powers, Summers, Smith. <br />A RESOLUTION to commend Jacob Streitel upon achieving the rank of Eagle <br />Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. <br />WHEREAS, Jacob has achieved this honor, a position which is reached by only <br />about one out of a thousand Boy Scouts, and <br />WHEREAS, Jacob has shown exceptional distinction in attaining the rank of <br />Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, completing his special project of building garden <br />beds for his church while demonstrating his outstanding leadership, pride in his community, <br />pride in his nation and pride in himself, and <br />WHEREAS, Jacob maintained an enviable record, including receiving the Arrow <br />of Light honor and commendation from this Council and the City of Lakewood, as a member of <br />Cub Scouts Pack 115 and Boy Scouts Troop 115 in Lakewood, all while progressing to Eagle <br />Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America, and <br />WHEREAS, the advancement of Jacob Streitel to the rank of Eagle brings credit <br />to himself, his family, his scout leaders, and the entire Lakewood community; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That this Council of the City of Lakewood extends to Jacob Streitel, its <br />congratulations and that of all the citizens of this community for his outstanding achievement in <br />attaining the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America and by so doing setting an <br />extraordinary example for all members of this community. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby authorized and directed to <br />forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Jacob Streitel and that a copy of this Resolution be <br />spread upon the minutes of this meeting. <br />Adopted: <br />Approved: 7/~// n <br />PRESIDENT <br />
